So glad to have finally found somewhere to take care of my vehicle! Extremely transparent, excellent work, and best customer service I have ever experienced. I will take my car here as long as I Live in Portland!

Art of Maintenance is the best! this place is convenient, friendly, and down right reasonable for me. This review is a bit late, but I visited in the summer of 2018. I got recommended to visit after my tire flattened with a nail and my cigarette lighter blew out. The crew squeezed my car in and immediately worked on it (I should mention it wasn’t too busy). I got my car back after a couple of hours with a perfect patched tire and fixed burned out fuse. Amazing! They were quick, responsive, and again FRIENDLY. I unfortunately forgot the gentlemen who helped me at the front counter. You guys rock! I am hoping to come check my car in sometime, but just wanted to show my appreciation for the help!

Got my car checked a few months later and customer service is great but they are like other places where they check for everything (which could be good) and try to get you to spend a lot of money to change parts and even major vehicle components. Basically went there for a checkup and emphasized I wanted an oil change. Ended up spending $100 with a list of things wrong and how I will need to spend thousands to fix my car. The part that got me down was the fact I didn’t get an oil change lol IF ONLY THERE WAS A SHOP THAT WAS ABLE TO BALANCE BETWEEN THINGS YOU “SHOULD” and “HAVE” TO GET. But hey it’s a business so you gotta be like that sometimes. I might go back if my car ever needs those changes. Again they are nice people tho!

I love this place! Kevin was very up front and explained what all is involved in replacing an engine. They called every time they found something that was better, or wrong and offered me options. They kept me up to date with the progress and even cleaned my truck. They were very patient with me as I tried to make this huge payment with multiple accounts and even stayed after they were closed to go over what to not do, and what to do to maintaine the engine integrity. Awesome and honest

I walked in to get a tire fixed with no appointment. Within 20 minutes they fixed my tire and didn’t charge me a penny. Totally cool folks who definitely know how to treat their customers and neighbors. I’m definitely going to hit them up next time I have a more serious auto issue.

I found this place googling around after the soonest appointment I could make at the Ford dealer I’d have gone to had it’s EARLIEST appointment 15 days from when I called. The Art of Maintenance for me in the next morning after a late afternoon call. The car diagnosis was made in a couple of hours post drop off, and, but for a part needing to be brought in the next day, it’d have been done that day. As it was, brought it back the next morning, and the car was done by noon.

The price seemed reasonable to me comparative to any other maintenance I’ve had done over the years, and the staff seemed totally transparent about the issues and the costs, starting by attempting the least expensive fixes first (which worked! phew!). More importantly, they were just friendly and welcoming to this boy who knows nothing about cars.

Will def use them again; although I sure hope to not have to 🙂 (come on, car, get to 300k miles and past this chip shortage BS!!!)
