We took our 2013 Chevy Sonic 1.4L, Turbo, to AOM for an inspection of output shaft seal & oil change. We chose them because we volunteer nearby, and they could work on our car while we volunteer. They provided us with an inspection report that included pictures. After reviewing the report and going over the potential charges, we authorized them to complete the recommended services, which included oil change, new spark plugs, brake fluid flush, fuel injection service, output shaft seal replacement, drain and refill manual transmission fluid and replacing all shocks and strut assemblies and rear springs. This cost $2,818.00. We were in a bit of shock at the price, but that being said, this car has never given us a bit of trouble since buying it new, so we decided this money was well spent. We have had all the manufacturer-recommended maintenance done at the dealer all along. A dealer may have charged as much or more. The services performed by AOM were needed as evidenced by the pictures they took during the inspection and during the repairs themselves. Our car is running like new, and the repairs are guaranteed for 5 years, 50,000 miles NATIONWIDE. So, yes, it was expensive and worth it. We feel we got our money’s worth. Thank you, Ryan and Kevin.
We went to AOM for what we thought was a power steering problem on our 2006 Toyota 4Runner. That’s what they diagnosed and replaced the rack and pinion. What we didn’t expect was that, on picking up the vehicle, the rear wiper would not work and it had since we bought the car last year. Returned it to Kevin who was able to re-program the wiper relay. Now the front end is quiet and the rear window can have rain cleared off. Thanks, guys.

Art of Maintenance is the best! They have serviced my car many times from oil changes all the way to fixing my exhaust manifold and radiator. My 1999 Suzuki used to sound like a tractor and I could not believe how quiet it was after taking it to Art of Maintenance. They also provide very thorough vehicle reports via text message that include pictures and make keeping track of maintenance easy!
You know your car never breaks down on a good day but when my car broke down in Portland these guys helped make a bad day better true professionals they helped Comfort my wife and my dog. we were traveling out of town . Been taking my car here for a few years for oil changes, etc., and it’s always gone well. Noticed one of my tires was dangerously low on air today and drove it straight there. Even though it was almost closing time, the folks at Art of Maintenance pulled my car into the garage and thoroughly checked and fixed my tires. Services were quick and efficient, with an itemized list of results from the check-in on my car (complete with pictures) and each service was completed very quickly compared to previous mechanics I have worked with. Came in and to asked some questions Kevin and Conner both answer the questions for me I had them do an inspection on my brake system. The price was right so I went ahead and have them do it and I also got a great warranty three years 36,000 mile nationwide warranty matter fact. I will be back and recommend everyone I know to go see this guys .
