I have gone to this place a few times in the past, I had interacted with Kevin each time I was there. It was the holiday season and they where a little busy, I needed new breaks and new parts for the engine, originally it was thought that I’d be ready in January 3rd, unfortunately I was to move out of Portland on the 1st so I needed my car. I explained the situation to Kevin who was very professional and transparent, he was able to get things fixed for me sooner so that I’d be able to move out on time. Itd be easy for other people in his position to just throw their hands up and say “it is what it is” but he went the extra mile to as helpful and dexterous as possible, which shows that which shows that Art of Maintenance is committed to helping their customers.

Got a used Jeep Liberty that ended up needing a bunch of maintenance work that comes along with buying a used car, so I took it to Art of Maintenance and they fixed it up good as new. They were good about communicating what issues they came across and called to review the recommended services to get my OK before proceeding. The Jeep is working great now and luckily they are right down the street from my house so it will be convenient to take it there for oil changes, etc. going forward.

Referred here by a friend who has been having her truck fixed by Art of Maintenance for years. They were clear on their policies of sanitizing touch points–which at this time is important and was much appreciated. They were helpful on the phone, got me in next day, and had everything fixed up within a few hours. They provided great work that felt fair & friendly. My brakes were making my car un-driveable, and they were able to get them all repaired same day.

They were very helpful and professional. Found a weird but easy to fix problem with our mini cooper and fixed it quick and without further charges. Also provided a complete health check for the car, estimates for future work, and checked in with us days later to make sure everything was ok. Will go to them again.
