Early care keeps you safe, protects your engine, and saves you from bigger repairs later. Common signs to look out for:
Strange whining, humming, or grinding sounds
This is caused by low or contaminated transmission fluid, damaged gears, failing bearings, a worn torque converter, misaligned gear sets, or a failing transmission pump, all of which can disrupt proper lubrication and gear engagement.
Delayed or rough shifting
This may be caused by degraded transmission fluid, clogged transmission filters, worn clutch packs or bands, a faulty shift solenoid, valve body problems, or issues with the transmission control module, these issues interfere with hydraulic pressure and timing during gear changes.
A burning smell during or after driving
This can indicate overheated or burnt transmission fluid, low fluid levels causing excessive friction, slipping clutch packs, a failing torque converter, or internal components overheating due to clogged filters or restricted fluid flow.
Fluid leaking underneath your car
This is caused by damaged transmission pan gaskets, cracked transmission pans, corroded fluid lines, leaking axle seals, or a failing front or rear transmission seal, all of which can allow transmission fluid to escape and lead to low fluid levels and transmission damage.

I’ve been going here for years for electrical problems for my cars. There the place I recommend everyone for anything electrical but I purchased a new car the other day right down the street from them and they were willing to squeeze me in for a pre purchase inspection. Even though they were down one mechanic.
Had to get the breaks on my car looked at. It was very easy to bring my car there, just had to drop it off whenever was convenient for me. All of the staff was very gracious and nice. As a woman, I have had experiences in the past where men at mechanic shops have been patronizing and mansplain me, but this did NOT happen here. Everyone there treated me with respect and it was very refreshing. Service was fast and I was able to pick my car up the next day. The office is very nice inside and they have a very welcoming customer lounge. All in all it was a very good experience and I’m very very happy with the work that was done on my car. I highly recommend to everyone!!! :))

This has been the go-to service shop for myself and my parents for almost a decade. They do top-quality work and make you feel welcome. They’ve even done work pro-bono that was covered under our Honda warranty so we didn’t have to drive the extra distance to get it serviced by our manufacturer. All in all, can’t think of a way for their service to be better while still being fair to their business. Great guys!
